Title: Mathematical Analysis of Half Volume DRA With Performance Evaluation for High Speed System Applications

A novel efficient design analysis has been proposed for a reduced-size dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). This has been done by using half-volume resonator with short-circuited plane of symmetry. The design serves as a new configuration of planar antenna, thus making integration of active devices easier. The antenna showsremarkableperformance,havinglowcross-polarizatio n levels and reasonably well radiation patterns. The antennadesign has been simulated using a new analytical framework created in MATLAB giving accurate measurement details.

Future of data storage technologies, using the case of two major technologies driving the data storage world, hard disk drive or conventional longitudinal recording. A hard disk is part of a unit, often called a "disk drive," "hard drive," or "hard disk drive," that store and provides relatively quick access to large amounts of data on an electromagnetically charged surface or set of surfaces. Computer data storage, often called storage or memory, is a technologyconsistingof computer componentsand recordin g media used to retain digital data. It is a core function and fundamental component of computers. The central processing unit (CPU) of a computer is what manipulates data by performing computations. Title: Automatic Speed Control System in Four Wheelers

Many accidents are caused due to the rash driving of the vehicles. This rash driving occur due to the miss judgement, poor driving of the driver and many. If the driver lost the control it is very difficult to drive the vehicle. To avoid the consequences and preventing the loses we need some saftey system in the vehicles. This can be achieved by controlling the flow of fuel to the engine using the sensors and some mechanical arrangements and this can bring the vehicle to the intended course. By using this system rash driving in the populated regions can be avoided and it is safe for the vechicles too. When the vehicle reaches the school or college zone Microcontroller will communicate with vehicle through Zigbee and send a speed parameter. The signal from the receiver is given to the microcontroller section of the vehicle which in turn controls the vehicle. Different speed can be set to the different areas i.e., a particular speed for school zone and particular speed for normal road and a particular speed for highways. This system prevents unnecessary accidents.

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, meaning that it is among a family of gases including water vapor, ozone, and nitrous oxide. Together, these gases make the Earth habitable, by increasing heat efficiency and keeping the temperature of the planet stable. The issue with carbon dioxide in particular is that there is currently more of it in the atmosphere than there should be, and it is starting to trap too much heat as a result. The extra heat trapped by the growing number of greenhouse gases is leading to a phenomenon called global warming. Two things are contributing to the rise of carbon dioxide levels. The first is the generation of large amounts of the compound through the burning of fossil fuels like gasoline. Fossil fuels contain large amounts of carbon, which reacts with oxygen when burned and also second is that vehicles emitting more amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide can be reduced from vehicle emissions in order to achieve greener environment. Hence a different catalyst is used in this work such as charcoal and coconut shell based activated carbon.

Title: Modification of Ferrule Locking System for Cable Assembly in Lmv

In cable assembly of side view mirrors LMV, involves a process locking of ferrules onto the metallic knob. In the present scenario, considering the complexity of design this process is done manually using a pneumatic press. As this process involves locking the ferrule individually into the directional knobs, there is a high probability that the workmen working in the line can injure fingers. Moreover there is a lot of time lapse as locking of the three ferrule per single side mirror cable is done individually. To eliminate these drawbacks an enhanced design is suggested and fabricated which can be used in place of the existing design, thereby providing a safety feature to the existing model. Adding to it the proposed model can also lock the three ferrules at a single press thereby reducing the cycle time of the entire cable assembly process.

Title: Growth of p-type ZnO thin films using NO gas as the dopant source

We investigate the p-type doping in ZnO prepared by the method of radical beam gettering epitaxy using NO gas as oxygen source and nitrogen dopant. A narrow (002) peak is observed in the X-ray diffraction spectra, which indicates that the N-doped ZnO films are oriented along the c-axis. Secondary ion mass spectroscopy measurements demonstrate that N is incorporated into ZnO film in concentration about 2.51019 cm-3. The hole concentration of the N-doped p-ZnO films was between 1.4×1017 and 7.2×1017 cm-3, and the hole mobility was 0.9-1.2 cm2/Vs were demonstrated by Hall effect measurements. The emission peak of 3.312 eV is observed in the photoluminescence spectra at 4.2 K of N-doped p-ZnO films, probably neutral acceptor bound excitons and the band of 3.24 eV, connected with donor-acceptor pair recombination. The activation energy of the nitrogen acceptor was obtained by temperature-dependent photoluminescence measurement and makes about 140 meV.

Design of the end-effector of a robot is of high importance. This is the part of a robot that actually interacts with the object and does grip it. Without a suitable end-effector, a robot cannot function properly. Poorly designed gripper may result in slip of a component from the jaws of a gripper and even damage parts sometimes. A component may be hold with instability, and this can decrease system reliability. In this paper, discussion is made on design considerations that one needs to take into account while designing the 4-bar linkage gripper. The control system applied for it is also briefed. The work of a gripper is based on principle of converting rotational motion into linear motion. Gripper is of aluminium bar which is connected by bearings with the linking aluminium bar and they are fitted to worm and spur gear which converts the motion from rotor. The sensors are placed to determine the forces in the links, so that they can maintain the speed of the rotor.

Title: Study of the Effect of the Roasting Time of Sesame Seeds on its Oil Quality Parameters

In this work, we were interested to study the effect of roasting time of sesame seeds on its oil quality parameters. The changes of fatty acid composition and quality characteristics  of sesame oils prepared at different roasting time (30–360min) at 150 °C from sesame seed were evaluated and compared with an unroasted oil sample (0 min : fresh oil). Attenuated Total Reflectance- Fourier Transform Mid Infrared Spectroscopy(ATR-FTMIR) associated with chemometric tools was used to follow fatty acid composition in studied sesame oils according to roasting time at 150°C. The use of chemometric treatment such as multivariate curve resolution-alternative least square (MCR-ALS) made it possible to extract the spectra of main fatty acids. The concentration profiles gave interesting information about the changes of fatty acid composition of studied sesame oils during roasting process. The fatty acid content of the oil was reduced markedly, especially in oleic and linoleic acids, when the roasting time was 360 min (6h). There were observed increases in characteristics, such as acid value, saponification value, peroxide value and Specific extinction coefficient at 232 nm of sesame oils occurred in relation to increasing roasting time. But significant decreases were observed in the iodine value.

Converting solar energy into electrical energy with using photocells is a major task for developers and research groups. Production of solar batteries passed through some steps, taking into account technical and economic aspects which was associated with improvement of their parameters. This way the first generation solar batteries are based on substrates of silicon single crystal (Si). Continuous research to reduce the costs of their production and increase the efficiency of solar batteries led to the development of solar modules which having a conversion efficiency of solar energy 12-16%. Using of polycrystalline silicon and other silicon shapes allowed reduced the cost of modules, but due to the efficiency of solar energy conversion. Solar batteries of the second generation were based on thin films of amorphous silicon. Using this technology allows reaching the coefficient of performance (COP) solar battery is about 12% with a significant reduction of costs. Solar batteries which based on the third generation established crystals and nanoporous materials. Developed photocells by nano-enabled technologies to make them more effective through the use of nanoscale clusters of semiconductors that have optoelectronic properties that are changed by quantum physical effects. In addition, the absorption bands can be optimally adapted to the wavelength of incident light. Three-dimensional grids of quantum dots is technologically possible. These solar structures can lead to increased efficiency of solar energy conversion more than 15%, which could double the existing practical efficiency of solar batteries.
